Solo tuba, small string orchestra., 2 percussionists. Percussion in each movement: 1st movement: Bullroarer tuned to A-E-A, Bullroarer tuned to Bb-F-Bb. Slide whistle, 3 timpani 2nd movement: No percussion 3rd movement: 3 timpani, Suspended cymbal, Cuica, Cabasa, Bass Drum, Whip, 5 temple blocks, Vibraslap, Siren, Car horn, Snare drum, Referee's whistle, Crow call Swanee whistle, Triangle, 2 Bullroarers tuned to A-E-A
